If you check Obama's last trip overseas, his wife left just after their visit to France as stated below. She has yet to accompany him to any Arab country. Think about it.

This was sent to me from a very good and reliable friend. The pieces of the puzzle just keep on coming together! Interesting...

Travel for Obama: I was at a Blockbusters on Saturday renting videos, and as I was going along the wall, there was a video called "Obama." I told the two men next to me that I wouldn't waste my time. We talked about Obama. These guys were Arabs and I asked them why they thought Michele Obama headed home following her visit in France instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband. They told me she couldn't go to Saudi Arabia , Turkey or Iraq . I said, "Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Dubai ...

"They said that Obama is a Muslim, and by Muslim law he would not be allowed to bring his wife into countries that accept Sharia Law.  Just thought it was interesting that two Arabs at Blockbusters accept the idea that we're being led by a Muslim who follows the Islamic creed. They also said that's the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia ..It was a signal to the Muslim world. Just thought you would like to know."

I don't really know where to start in addressing this email.  Do you really believe the word of some unnamed author (it's certainly not Shep Smith) who spoke to two random "Arabs" at a Blockbuster? 

Michelle Obama skipped that part of the trip so she could be back in time to see her girls off to their first day at their new school.  By forwarding this email, you are encouraging this deceitful story instead of spreading the truth that the First Lady chose to be a good mother instead of continuing on a glamorous global trip.  If you'd like to read one of the many, many news articles supporting this information, you can start here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article6046656.ece

I'm also not sure how many times it is going to have to be repeated, but President Obama is not Muslim.  He is a strong Christian, and if you listen to him talk about his faith, his devotion is crystal clear.

For example - Obama did an interview with Pastor Rick Warren during the campaign. During their talk, Obama said: "I believe in -- that Jesus Christ died for my sins, and that I am redeemed through him. That is a source of strength and sustenance on a daily basis. Yes, I know that I don't walk alone. And I know that if I can get myself out of the way, that I can maybe carry out in some small way what he intends. And it means that those sins that I have on a fairly regular basis, hopefully will be washed away."

I'm not going to address the "scandal" of Obama "bowing" to the Saudi King.  American presidents have been photographed bowing to, kneeling in front of, holding hands with, and even kissing foreign monarchs and dignitaries for years. 

Hopefully this clears things up for you - I would also hope that you forward this email to everyone you sent the email to so we can start discussing the real issues facing the country, instead of just spreading lies.
